By signing up to The Bastion Guard (“the Guard”, “we”, “us”) at bastionguard.co.uk, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy & Cookie Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or create an account.

• Membership is open to men aged 18 and over.
• Membership is free throughout 2026. Founding members who join during this period keep free membership going forward, even if we introduce paid tiers later. We'll give reasonable notice before any pricing changes affect anyone.
• Each local town chapter activates once it reaches its member threshold. Until then, members in that town remain on the waitlist for in-person activity but retain full access to the site.
• You're responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your login secure.

Ranks and stars are earned by submitting video evidence of completed challenges (e.g. push-ups) and by participation in the community. We review submissions at our discretion and may decline a submission that doesn't meet the challenge criteria, appears manipulated, or breaches these terms. Rank thresholds and challenge criteria may be adjusted as the Guard develops; we won't retroactively remove a rank already earned.

When you upload a star submission video or other content, you keep ownership of it. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, review, and display that content within the Guard platform (e.g. on your profile, town leaderboard, or as anonymised examples) for as long as your account is active or as reasonably needed to run the community.

You confirm that anything you upload is your own, doesn't infringe anyone else's rights, and doesn't include any other identifiable person without their consent.

The Guard is built on discipline, faith, and brotherhood. In keeping with that, members agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or discriminate against another member.
• Post or submit false, misleading, or manipulated content.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the platform.

We may suspend or terminate membership, at our discretion, for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.

Challenges, workouts, and any in-person town chapter activity involve physical exertion and carry an inherent risk of injury. By participating, you confirm that:

• You believe yourself to be in good enough health to take part, and will seek medical advice first if you're unsure.
• You take part in all challenges and activities at your own risk and are responsible for exercising within your own limits.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guard, its organisers, and volunteers aren't liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation, except where caused by our negligence.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

We aim to keep the site available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features as the Guard develops through its build phases, and may update these terms from time to time — we'll reflect material changes in the “last updated” date above.

The site and its content are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

You can leave the Guard at any time by contacting us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or that has been inactive for an extended period, with reasonable notice where practical.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
